Just a Note to say I'm Alive and Well!

Sorry, it has been a week since my last post. All is well here and I've been busy with Mom & Dad. Mom loves to shop and well we'll say I'm shopped out. We had a wonderful trip to Gainesville. Mom & Dad visited some campsites around Ocala. We went to Jordan's game on Friday night (He made 16 points) and Saturday went to Morgan's upward cheerleading for the first graders basketball. Visited with my daughter and son-in-law.

Dad is trying to help me fix two computers that have some challenges with some missing dll's. We went to Best Buys and bought a 4 port USB hub and finally installed a 160gig harddrive I had purchased on sale over a year ago.

Yesterday was my Mom's birthday so my phone rang off the wall!!! I am the oldest of eight children. Say no more! We had a wonderful Fajita Trio dinner at Chili's.

That's about it for news. Mom and Dad will be leaving on Thursday then I'll be "home alone".

In between all this I have been working on Valentine's kits. Yes, I said kits. I'll try to get at least some of the papers up today! I've had a lot of fun with these since I've been experimenting with various filters on the overlays. Also, went through prior commercial use grab bags that I purchased looking for Spring designs. And then there is my craft room. I also dug some interesting items out of it. My husband wants me to give away my craft items but I have been using them for the digital kits so I don't think that is going to happen in the near future. LOL.

I also need to change the blog headers. I hate removing my Angels. Maybe I can find a Valentine Angel. We'll see. I have some clip art I've purchased over the years. Maybe, just maybe I can find the Valentine Angel. Until tomorrow, have a Great Friday!

Snowy Purple Quick page #5 Freebie

Boy was it cold last night here in Central Florida! It was below freezing! I so miss the snow but after last night, I'm glad I'm here. It was 83 two days ago! This body of mine doesn't like the severe change in temperature.

Still general cleaning! My electric bill is going to be a whopper with using the washer and dryer. When I strip a room it gets cleaned from the ceiling down. Windows, sheers, mini blinds, walls. valances and floors. All bedding including the bed skirts, mattress pads, etc.

I did manage to squeeze this Quick page in though. Brenda left me a comment on 4shared and she's absolutely right! Black and White photos will look awesome with the Snowy Purple collection. Beverly I hope you get to see your "purple loving" Granddaughter soon. And thanks to everyone that left the delightful comments on 4shared from across the globe!

Have any of you looked at the Feedjit on the right hand side of the blog. It is really neat. If you go to the map, you can see where all the bloggers are coming from. Happy New Year's Day!

So what are your New Year's Resolutions? My list could be a mile long...

2008 is going to be a new start for me. Nore's Niche will open soon, my health issues are closing with my Byetta and my stamina is coming back! Looks like it is 'gonna be' a Great New Year!

My number One New Year's Resolution is to "Un-clutter" my life. This means my home, my computer(LOL) and "get back to basics." Too often we put a price tag on tangible items in our life. The intangible items most generally "free for the taking" we do not respect enough. Meaning family, love, happiness, integrity, spirit and health. Let's try this year to "focus" on the intangible items.

If we do this, we will be happier, healthier and more productive.

Snowy Purple Quick page #4

When I first designed these papers after seeing Sharon's Christmas Tree on her blog, I wasn't sure if many scrappers would like a purple kit. Sometimes I create a kit, quick page or brag book and in "my " eyes" everyone should like it. Not necessarily so. I'm delighted by the number of downloads. Several scrappers have left comments on the blog and 4shared requesting that I continue with the Purple theme. I'll try to manage some time to create several more Quick pages but I won't put you through a download a day! I'm ready to move on and have been creating some New Year's overlays. Since everyone is probably scrapping from pictures from 2000 or earlier (LOL), I think that I'll design a New Years mini kit (LOL). I don't think I know the meaning of the word mini!!!
